Administering Board Viewers

What are Board Viewers?

Board Viewers accounts provide a mechanism for giving an extended number of stakeholders the ability to view the Board status at a discounted rate.  Board Viewers can be purchased in blocks at a very low price.  Each Board Viewer account allows read-only access for a user to one of the Organization's boards. Board Viewers can monitor the real-time status of work within the system as well as having the ability to apply filters to the Cards.  Each Board Viewer account is tied to a user's email address and can only be used by that individual.  Each Board Viewer account is associated to a particular Board although and individual can be granted multiple accounts if they need access to multiple Boards. Adding Board Viewers to a Board

To add Board Viewers to a Board, click on the Admin icon of the Board that you wish to add viewers (Note: You must have already purchased the Board Viewer accounts).  Click on the Viewers tab.

 

From here you will be able to type in or paste a list of email addresses of the people that you wish to add as viewers.  Once you verified the list of addresses, click the Add icon to activate those users.

Each of the users will be sent an email containing a unique link and instructions for activating their account.  Clicking on this link will take the user to the activation page in which they will be asked to provide their Time Zone and preferred Date Format.  Once activated, users will be able to go directly to the Board.

Deleting a Board Viewer

To remove a Board Viewer Account, click the Delete icon associated to the viewer that you wish to remove.  The purchased Board Viewer account will then be placed back into the pool of assignable accounts.
